The Windy City, known for its bustling energy and iconic skyline, was the perfect destination for a festive getaway. Our adventure began with a brisk walk along the Magnificent Mile, where the city’s famous shopping and holiday lights set the stage for a delightful exploration. We marveled at the beautifully decorated shop windows and reveled in the cheerful atmosphere that permeated the streets.
When the clock struck midnight, the night sky above Chicago erupted with a dazzling fireworks display that lit up the city. We explored the city’s iconic landmarks, from Millennium Park with the famous “Bean” sculpture to the historic Navy Pier. Each corner of Chicago had something unique to offer, and we savoured every moment of our trip.
Our New Year’s celebration in Chicago in 2004 was a perfect blend of excitement, and adventure, it was a magical start to the year 2015.
