On July 20th, 2012, the Cardiff Doctor Who Exhibition opened, inviting fans of the iconic British sci-fi series into a world of timey-wimey wonders. Housed in a unique 3,000 square meter building at Porth Teigr, designed by theme-park experts Sarner Ltd, the exhibition is an adventure through time and space like no other.
The journey commenced with a short film that set the stage for the adventure. The start is the Eleventh Doctor’s very first TARDIS interior, we were ready to embark on a thrilling escapade. Throughout the exhibition, we were transported to various iconic Doctor Who locations, making it an unforgettable experience.
For five years, this immersive journey delighted Doctor Who fans from around the world. The Cardiff Doctor Who Exhibition closed its doors on September 9th, 2017, marking the end of a five-year lease on its unique location.
